Dallas Symphony
Orchestra - "Symphony YES"
Request for a Symphony YES Booking
Volunteers and musicians work together
on the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's successful Symphony YES program.
Through the program, ensembles for the Orchestra travel to Dallas
area schools to present about 100 performances annually for
students in grades one through six. Audiences for each presentation
are limited to 150, creating an intimate and informative environment
in which musicians introduce their instruments, perform a wide
range of repertoire and interact with students.
Symphony Yes ensembles are also
available to visit middle schools for coaching, clinics, sectionals
or performances aimed at recruiting new members for the school
band and orchestra programs.
